It’s hard enough for adults to go around with no hair, but imagine how a child must feel? First, to be sick at all, but on top of it to have no hair? This is where “Wigs For Kids” comes in…
You can donate 10 inches or more of your hair or give money. There is even a form to mail in the hair. Whichever you choose to do will brighten a child’s life as they recover from unthinkable illness. It takes about 12 ponytails to make each wig.
This charity is local to me:
If you want to stay local, you can ask your hair stylist if there is a similar program in your area – I’m sure there is~!
I would also like to THANK SO MUCH, @Jason__Ramsey of WigSuperStore.com who donated wigs to my sister in law who was fighting breast cancer and has since been given a clean bill of health~! I can tell you that those wigs went a LONG WAY toward her recovery~!! Please “like” them on Facebook~!
The great thing about donating hair is that it grows back~!
